Simon Ashworth, Ph. D teaching on FM MSc and BSC degree programmes at ZHAW, Switzerland. His specialist research areas are FM-Digital Topics and BIM. Simon holds a PhD with Liverpool John Moores Universityat “The role of FM in BIM projects” as well as a MSc in FM, MSc in Engineering & Business Management and a BEng in Civil Engineering. His research focused on digital trends and their impact on FM and RE. Moreover Simon is a Visiting Lecturer at various universities on BIM and member of: BIFM, IFMA Schweiz, FMPro Schweiz. Simon was awarded the title of EuroFM Researcher of the Year 2017.

Simon has 20 plus years of management experience in FM, Real Estate, Project and Transition Management working on a variety of contracts both as Client and Supplier. Excellent strategic, new business development and operational management skills and a “Can Do“ innovator, with a track record of successfully implementing creative solutions and working to tight deadlines.
